How Does The Challenge Work?
This 28-day challenge will teach you how to love yourself and treat yourself right. Many people wait for someone else to come and shower them with love. There's no more waiting for someone to love you. You love yourself first and the other person simply complements you. The daily actions in the challenge will make you focus on what's most important for you - probably for the first time in your life!
Week 1: Declutter Your Life!
To kick off the challenge, you will start by clearing clutter. Clutter accumulates very fast in all areas of life, not just the physical ones. This week, you will clear clutter from your home, work, and relationships. This will clear the way for you to focus on self-love the rest of the month. Out with the old to create way for a more fulfilling life!
Week 2: Love and Kindness
Self-love is not selfish at all. It simply means that you take care of yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself with the people around you. Isn't that a great goal to aim for? This week, you will discover strategies on how to love yourself in order to love others
Week 3: Energy, Passion and Commitment
Week 3 is a pivotal week as you start implementing strategies that will change your life forever...for the better. This week, you will develop an action plan on how to implement the strategies outlined in Week 2. Your action plan will also include ways of rewarding yourself when you hit small or big milestones.
Week 4: Focus
As the old saying goes, if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there. This week, you will move on to creating crystal clear vision about what you want your life, career or business to look and feel like. This will keep you focused on the things that are important for you. Focus will also help eliminate procrastination and keep clutter in check as you move forward.
Learn and Grow Each Week
Starting 2024, the Challenge runs in GROW which is our virtual monthly membership. You can join for 1 month if you just want access to the Challenge, but we're sure you'll want to stay to keep connecting with the Community.
GROW also gives you access to recordings of all the Learning Wednesday teleclasses and webinars we've held since October 2022.
We'll also meet on Tuesdays for LIVE Q&A Calls (1:00pm to 2:00pm EAT/GMT+3) where you can connect with other Challenge participants, ask questions about the week's lesson, and share your experiences as you work through the Challenge.
In this way, you get to implement what you're learning each week and meet with like-minded women and other experts in the Q&A calls.

What Does The Challenge Look Like?
Reflection Question
Each week has a question to help you reflect on the week’s topic. The questions may seem easy at first glance, but reflecting on them will reveal hidden depths and amazing insights.
Action
Reflection alone won’t change your habits. The reflection question will be boosted with a simple activity that you can complete in a few days or over the course of the week.
Motivation
Start the week positively with the Monday morning quote. Also, take advantage of the weekly Q&A Call on Tuesdays to share, learn more, and get your questions answered.
Weekend Planning
Every Saturday, you will get a tip to help you plan for the next week. Unlike regular planning tips, this time you’ll know how to include self-care into your planning for the next week. The aim is to make self-care a habit.
Tools and Resources
You will receive a specific tool or resource each week to help you solidify what you’ve learnt. Some of the tools will be created specifically for this challenge, while others are found on our blog or other blogs.
Way Forward
Each week has a clear call to action. If there’s a way I can help you, I’ll tell you. If the week’s lesson requires skills outside my expertise, I’ll give you directions to the best of my ability. You won’t be left hanging.

The Story Behind This Challenge
Hi. I'm Caroline Gikonyo and I'm your facilitator during the 28 Days of Loving Yourself Challenge. I'm a Transformational Life Coach and co-Founder of Biashara Threesixty.
I've been working with high-achieving women since 2011, helping them achieve extraordinary results in their lives, careers and businesses.
In my work, I've found that many high achievers don't have a regime for self-care and self-love. They set very high bars for themselves and work on their goals. However, they still struggle and beat themselves up even when they surpass their goals.
Another interesting discovery (that's not surprising to me...) is the fact that most of the work I do with my clients consists of helping them become adept at pivoting between different aspects of their lives. For many of my clients, this includes having to put in place a self-care regime.
I've been there before and know how hard it is to remove focus from everything and everyone around you and put yourself first. The reality is that, if you don't make this shift, with time, you will run out of steam, resulting in overwhelm, stress and burnout.
The COVID-19 pandemic added onto this by producing additional levels of unprecedented stress at a personal level and in our workplaces and businesses.
The pandemic also brought about a new layer of roles for working women. We had to take on additional roles at home even as we worked on our jobs or businesses. Additionally, mothers stepped into yet another new role as child minders and/or homeschoolers.
On top of all these...December is generally a stressful month for many working women, and more so for working mums. Self-care gets thrown out of the door as focus moves to family and the holidays. Then comes January when you go back to work tired and in need of a holiday in order to recover from the holidays!
The 28 Days of Loving Yourself Challenge is designed to help you take a step back in February, and create a system of self-care that you can replicate on your own in the future. After taking care of family and getting over the January stress, you surely deserve to place some focus on yourself.
This Challenge Works!
When my former business partners and I set up the challenge in February 2018, we had come together from our individual coaching practices to form Biashara 360. Going through the challenge taught us so much about ourselves and our priorities. It literally changed our lives and businesses.
By the end of the challenge, each of us had crystal clear clarity about what we needed to do personally and business-wise. The end result of our taking part in the challenge was having to make some tough decisions about our partnership.
We took action over the course of 2018 and have shared our story in a series of articles on this blog. The best thing is that as a result of working through the challenge together, we remained friends, even after dissolving our partnership.
That's the story behind the challenge and I'm eagerly looking forward to having you join me and other women this year as we share our knowledge, skills and experiences in the GROW membership forum. So make sure you participate actively in the forum to make the most of this Challenge.
